Component suggestions
Do you want to show a process, an application process or a step-by-step path to something? Here are suggestions on how to best show a process - whether you have few steps and little text or many steps and lots of content.
When you want to show a process, it's important to choose a component that matches both the amount of steps and the complexity of each step. For simple overviews with few steps and short text, you can use visual list formats. If you have longer explanations and need depth, you should choose components that allow the user to navigate or unfold information themselves.
Fact List is suitable for processes with up to four steps and short text. Use it in a 4/4/4 split or four rows in 6/6 for a clean, clear view.
If you have up to six steps and a bit more text, you can still use Fact List - but in Row 8 and with collapsible functionality. This gives the user an overview of the entire process, while each step can be unfolded for more information.
The Fact List allows you to highlight multiple short messages with headline, teaser and link. You can add a background colour or border to make the content more eye-catching.

On SDUnet there will no longer be a dedicated news-box on the frontpage showing your personal news. Instead, you will find your personal news on the news list belonging to your faculty, department or centre.
If your unit does not have its own news list, you have the option to read the general news for all employees at SDU instead.
On the “new” SDUnet, it is unfortunately no longer possible to create personal links for specific pages, and the links you might have saved earlier have been removed during the transfer of SDUnet.
If you often use specific pages but have a hard time remembering where to find them, we suggest that you bookmark the pages in your browser.
If you have any technical questions, or questions about setup, language etc. please write to the web coordinator at your faculty or SDU Communication - Web. Remember to include the URL and screenshot of the page you need help with.
