Component suggestions
Components for news and events
Do you want to display news, events or posts in a clear and automatic way? Here are suggestions for components that retrieve content from SDU's systems - and that can be displayed with or without images and with or without categories.
NewsSlider
NewsSlider displays news from one or more news lists and presents them in a horizontal slider - either with or without images, depending on the setup. You manage the news itself via the news system - not in the component. It's important that you regularly review what news is displayed and make sure it's current and relevant to the target audience. Use the slider for the most interesting and relevant - and check that headlines and subtitles are sharp and inviting. You can adjust the teaser and title of the news in the news article itself.
The component is also available in a categorised version (Categorised NewsSlider) if you need to display news by topic.

You choose which event list to display and the component is automatically updated when new posts are created in EOM. It's ideal for events, study start activities or job postings and requires minimal maintenance.
If your users need to navigate by topic, you can instead use the Categorised EOM Events Posters List, which shows the same posters - but divided by category.
