EPICUR at SDU

EPICUR is a strategic alliance that engages the entire University of Southern Denmark (SDU).

All faculties participate in EPICUR activities, and a wide range of administrative units contribute to developing and implementing the alliance across the university.

This broad involvement ensures that EPICUR is firmly anchored at SDU and integrated into both academic and administrative practices.

EPICUR Office

The alliance and its related projects are coordinated by the EPICUR Office at SDU, which is anchored in the Rector’s Office.

The EPICUR Office supports strategic alignment, facilitates collaboration across faculties and units, and helps ensure progress across the different EPICUR initiatives.

EPICUR Taskforce

To strengthen coordination and knowledge sharing, an EPICUR Task Force has been established with representatives from several administrative units. These include:

• Research & Innovation Organisation (RIO)
• SDU Education
• SDU Centre for Teaching and Learning (SDU UP)
• SDU IT. 

The Task Force meets regularly to share experiences, discuss developments across the alliance, and support the implementation of EPICUR activities at SDU.

Together, they contribute to areas such as research collaboration, educational development, mobility, and the technical infrastructure supporting the EPICUR virtual campus and digital collaboration formats.

EPI-Teams

At faculty level, EPI-teams play a central role in embedding the alliance locally.

These teams work to integrate EPICUR into education, research, and collaboration activities within their respective faculties, while ensuring alignment with the broader alliance objectives.

This organisational setup supports strong institutional engagement and helps ensure that EPICUR contributes to strengthening international collaboration, innovation in education, and research partnerships across SDU.
