What can I, as an administrative worker, use generative AI for?

If you approach generative AI with professional insight and from a critical standpoint, you will get a helping hand with your daily administrative tasks.

Before you get started, be aware that generative AI is definitely not perfect. You must continue to use your professional insight and maintain your critical sense to benefit from the tools.

Remember:
Everything you share with the AI tool, you also share with the world. So never upload personally identifiable or business-critical data or materials that are copyrighted by others.

Examples of administrative tasks you can use generative AI for:

1. Drafting wordings, presentations, etc.

Generative AI tools can help you get started on a task by generating a draft for you to work on.

2. Proofreading text

Use generative AI to check grammar and phrasing.
PLEASE NOTE:  You must still check the text for any errors.

3. Creating templates and standard documents

Specify which fields to include in the template, and generative AI will guide you further.

4. Answering standard questions from students and colleagues

Use generative AI to formulate standard answers.

5. Optimizing schedules

By analysing past data on teaching, exams, etc., generative AI can help develop more effective plans.

6. Translating documents

Automate your translation of documents between different languages using generative AI.
However, remember that you are still responsible for the accuracy of the translation.

PLEASE NOTE:
Never enter any personally identifiable or business-critical data. Everything you share with the AI tool, you also share with everyone else.
