Keep your content up-to-date and user-friendly
With a regular digital hygiene routine, you ensure that users always encounter relevant and accessible content.
Ensure a good experience through digital hygiene
As a web editor, you are responsible for ensuring that all pages in your area are relevant, up-to-date and user-friendly.
Over time, even a well-functioning website gathers dust: old pages get forgotten, links break and files pile up. When you work with digital hygiene as a regular routine, you ensure that users always encounter relevant, accessible and trustworthy content.
What is digital hygiene?
Digital hygiene involves keeping order and maintaining the content and structure of a website.
Digital hygiene means that you need to:
- remove old pages and unused files.
- fix dead links and spelling mistakes.
- ensure everything works on mobile.
- keep content up to date.
