Professor Francesco Sannino appointed as Editor-in-Chief of Annals of Physics
Professor Francesco Sannino has assumed the role of Editor-in-Chief of the prestigious journal Annals of Physics of Elsevier beginning September 1, 2024. Sannino brings a wealth of expertise and vision to this role, continuing the journal's tradition of publishing groundbreaking research in the field of theoretical physics.

Innovation Fund Denmark invests in the development of a topological fault tolerant quantum computer
Innovation Fund Denmark has just signed an investment agreement with the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) for a 5-year research project: TopQC2X – Topological Photonic Quantum Computing and its applications with the project total of DKK 23,7 million.

Henning G. Kruse Foundation donates landmark building in Esbjerg to SDU
On 1 May 2025, the Henning G. Kruse Foundation will transfer the landmark property at Sædding Strandvej 18 in Esbjerg to the University of Southern Denmark. The building was previously the private residence of pioneer and businessman Henning G. Kruse and has been owned by the Henning G. Kruse Foundation since his death in 2022. Now the building will be used for research and development activities.
