Projects where solutions and knowledge are ready to be tested, demonstrated, and evaluated in relevant, realistic environments.
Up to DKK 400,000 can be applied for per project.
Application deadline is 16 September at 11.59 PM.
It is not expected that the funding from MedTech Odense can or should finance the entire project, but rather that it should be used for a specific deliverable that can move the project one step forward.
Funding can be used for, for example:
- Concept development, prototyping, and further development of a concrete MedTech solution from idea to proof-of-concept stage.
- Validation that demonstrates the solution is reliable, can function with other necessary technologies, can be produced, and that regulatory and impact considerations are well described.
- Further development and preparation of a technology for clinical testing, including trials in a relevant clinical environment with the aim of collecting data and feedback on the solution’s suitability in clinical practice, with a view to future regulatory approvals (e.g., CE).
- Interdisciplinary collaborations between researchers, clinicians, developers, and/or companies aimed at further developing a technology or solution.
- Identification of barriers to scaling and implementation.
- Acquisition of relevant competencies in an ongoing project that makes the project team ready to apply for innovation funding from larger external sources.
- Purpose-driven research involving relevant end users with the aim of further developing a concrete MedTech solution.
