Register your working hours and absences - for Technical/Administrative Staff (TAP)

Click on the pencil icon next to the desired date to register an arrival time.
Please note that it is not possible to make registrations for future times (not even on the same day).

Enter the arrival time manually or click on “Set time” to select the current time.
The time must be entered using a colon (HH:MM)
Finish by clicking “Save and close”

The arrival time is now registered, and the timesheet will display 0.00 in red numbers

Click on the red numbers on the timesheet when you finish work

1. Click on the line with the arrival time at the top of the pop-up box
2. Then insert the departure time by either typing it manually or pressing "Set time" to select the current time
3. Adding a comment is optional
4. Finish by clicking "Save and close"

The registration is now complete, and the system automatically logs the hours under the line "Working time" while "Total time consumption" is updated.

Click on the arrival/departure time for the desired date
Click on the line with the arrival and departure time at the top of the pop-up box.

Then make the desired corrections

Finish by clicking “Save and Close”
The corrections are now completed, and the timesheet will be automatically updated.

Click on check-in/check-out time for the desired date
Click on the line with check-in and check-out time at the top of the pop-up box

Click on “Delete” and then on “Yes” in the new pop-up

Then click on the cross in the top right corner
The changes are now completed, and the timesheet will be updated automatically.

All other absences (illness, child sick, senior days, care days, etc.) must be registered manually in mTIME.

1. Click on the pencil to register hours corresponding to your standard time
2. Enter the from and to time
3. Select Absence Reason
4. Optionally, write a comment
5. Finish with "Save and close"

The registration is now complete, and the system automatically logs hours under the selected absence reason.
Note! It is not possible to register more than the standard time on days with absence.

1. Click on the pencil icon to make the registrations
2. Enter the start and end time for the working hours
3. Click "Save"
4. Enter the start and end time for the absence and select the relevant absence reason
5. Optionally, write a comment
6. Finish with "Save and close"

The registration is now complete, and the system automatically logs hours under the line "Working time" as well as the selected absence reason.
Note! It is not possible to register more than the standard hours on days with absences.

Review your timesheet to ensure everything is correct:

1. Go to the tab “Overview” under “Statement” on the left side: 
   
   
   
   
2. Check that your hours are correct and then click on “User approval”:
   
   
   
3. A pop-up box will inform you of your current flex balance.
   Click “Ok” to continue:
   
   
   
   
4. In the next pop-up box, it is optional to write a comment.
   Click “Ok” to proceed with the approval.
   
   The timesheet is now approved and can no longer be edited.
   Your manager does not need to approve your timesheet.
   
   Note! You must approve your timesheets in chronological order.
   
   

Reopening a timesheet:

If you need to reopen a timesheet (to correct any errors), contact mTIME support via email: mtime-support@sdu.dk.

Timesheet and calendar
You can switch between months (and years) in the calendar on the left side or by using the arrows

Adding a comment
If you wish to add a comment to your entry, this can be done on the left side.
Stand in the field for the relevant day. Then enter the comment. The comment can be viewed by your manager.

Select period
Your timesheet can be displayed as a day, a week, or a month. It is recommended that you choose a monthly overview.

Add more activities to the timesheet (Note: ONLY FOR PROJECT TIME REGISTRATION)

Click on ”Select absence type/project” to add the relevant project(s) to your timesheet

Tick the box for the project(s) that are relevant to you.
Then click on the cross.

The selected projects will now be displayed in your timesheet.

Total hours
mTIME calculates a total of your hours per day and per month.
Total time spent: calculated based on check-in/check-out times and absence
Daily work norm: your standard time.
Difference: the difference between the total time spent on the day and the standard time

Note: Conversion of hours: mTIME calculates in hours/decimals and not hours/minutes.
A standard time of 7.24 hours will therefore be displayed as 7.40 hours.
Pay particular attention to this when registering absences that are less than a day.
