The software must only be installed on SDU-owned equipment. However, there are some exceptions, which you may install on a privately-owned computer or a third-party computer. SDU staff can access this software from software.sdu.dk
The agreements involve SDU-staff. Students have also access to some of the software agreements from MySDU.

Available for free to students, researchers and educators, JMP Student Edition offers comprehensive analytical tools for statistical thinking with interactive graphs and applets. Get the license here

S.A.S. Statistics Software
The campus agreement involves all staff and students at SDU. The software is installed from sasdownload.dk (log-in from WAYF with your SDU-username and password or you  may have  an IT-supporter to assist you.

Microsoft Azure Developer Tools for Teaching

Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching subscription provides you with access to certain Software Developer Tools, available to download for free. Use your SDU account to login. The focus of Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching is to provide departments, faculty and students with the tools necessary to specifically expand their study of software development and testing.

Stata/BE

SurveyXact
All staff and students have access to this web-based tool that is used for conducting questionnaire surveys.

Amber script
Is transcription software that converts speech to text. SDU is connected to DeiC's Amberscript agreement. You can buy access as an individual user or for a group. The price is DKK 44/hour and is paid up-front as a clip card solution. If you want to try it, a 10-minute trial is possible at Amberscript. Operational support and purchase of access takes place at service.sdu.dk

Password
SDU IT has made it possible to buy a license for a password manager program, as we are not quite up to speed with Single-sign-on on all systems. It can therefore be difficult to keep track of many different passwords. The program is approved by SDU RIO. Read more about price and ordering here.

Additional Stata software
Stata/SE and MP, Stat/Transfer and other Stata products. Data analysis and statistics software. You can view the prices on Stata’s homepage and orders are made via SDU IT
