Special holidays

Special holidays (State holiday agreement)

The special holidays are not covered by the Holidays Act. The social partners within the state have agreed (the state holiday agreement) how the special holiday days are earned and held.

Earnings take place in the calendar year and the special holidays are held in the following year from 1 May to 30 April. As an employee at SDU, you are entitled to 5 special holiday days.
