Fees
Fees can be paid for stand-alone sessions of a limited number of days duration. Fees can also be paid for individual lectures that are not part of a teaching course.As a starting point, remuneration is paid at the hourly rate for teaching assistants. For teaching assignments at a higher level, remuneration is paid according to the hourly rate for external lecturers.
It is a prerequisite for payment of fees that the person performing the work is not under the authority to instruct from the university beyond what is stipulated at the conclusion of the fee agreement.
Fees can also be paid as remuneration for consulting assignments. Here it is assessed whether the service paid is in reasonable proportion to what one pays for similar comparable services.
