The network meets about 4 times a year for professional events – preferably of a highly professional and academic nature and always with communication and networking across SDU in focus.
Purpose
- To be a forum for general exchange of experience in relation to management tasks, MUS, GRUS, methodologies, processes, management tools, etc.
- To be a forum where managers can get inspiration, ideas, reflect on their own practice and get sparring on specific challenges and thereby increase knowledge sharing and knowledge of work areas across the organisation
- To facilitate general management development with significance for individual career development
- To hold themed topic days and meetings
- To develop internal courses based on managers’ needs and wishes and thereby strengthen the individual’s management competencies
- To create increased transparency between departments, regardless of subject and area
- To support the development of SDU as an organisation by ensuring a faster and more efficient dissemination and implementation of the overall strategies, as the managers are the direct link to the employees
There are currently (2021) 225 managers in the network.
The activities of the Management Network are approved by the University Director, who encourages all managers to participate if they have the opportunity.
The activities are planned by the network’s steering committee.
