From words to reality: How to put the Leadership Compass into action

The leadership compass is founded on 4 perspectives. In each perspective, a number of reflection questions have been posed, which you as a leader can advantageously consider both individually and together with your management colleagues.

If you are a manager of managers, here are two tools you can use to work with the implementation of the Leadership Compass:

As a manager, you can use the presentation in your dialogue with management colleagues in other teams and departments as a starting point for a joint initiative and strategy development.

Dialogue cards:

As a manager, you can use the dialogue cards as a starting point for discussions of the more practical work with management development, including how you as a manager exercise good leadership through daily actions.

The dialogue cards are made so that you can put the principles of good leadership at SDU into practice. The dialogue cards can be used to structure the dialogue about where action is needed to lift and qualify your management. As a manager, you can use them at, e.g. management meetings or theme days. Cut out the cards; put the cards in a pile; draw a card; read aloud and start the leadership dialogue in your unit.

On the Management Portal, you can also find tools, courses, networking opportunities, sparring opportunities, etc. if you as a manager or as a management group want to explore certain areas where you lack inspiration and need to take action.
