Successful pre-boarding and onboarding are essential for new employees to feel a sense of belonging and more quickly achieve results in their work and for the organisation.

In welcoming new staff, it is important to ensure that they feel secure, engaged and integrated into both the professional and social aspects of the workplace as quickly as possible. This is done through structured pre-boarding and onboarding.

Pre-boarding is the process that takes place in the period from the signing of the contract to the first day of work, whereas onboarding is al the practical, personal and relational activities that take place from the first day of work onwards.
