SDU HR serves all of SDU's faculties, departments, centres and administrative areas. The University's central HR function, SDU HR supports SDU's core tasks efficiently, professionally and in cooperation with managers, decentralised HR staff and union representatives/health and safety representatives by:
- delivering reliable HR operations, including ensuring that administrative procedures and decisions are in line with applicable rules (legality checks)
- supporting SDU as an international workplace
- digitising HR-related and payroll processes
- supporting the development of SDU's organisation, including managerial and organisational development
- supporting SDU's work on gender equality and inclusion
- development and providing relevant skills development for managers and staff
- coordinating and leading the work on health and safety.
SDU HR serves a number of committees and task groups, including:
- The General Occupational Health and Safety Committee (HoAMU)
- The Gender Equality Committee (CLiU)
- The Committee for Career and Skills Development at SDU
- The Subcommittee on Skills Development of the Technical/Administrative Staff (KKT)
- The Subcommittee on Skills Development of Academic Staff (KKV)
- The Committee for Election (Collegiate Bodies of SDU)
- The Student Education Committee
SDU HR is also represented on SDU's whistleblower team
