Performance and development reviews at SDU

Find inspiration and guides for the different types of interview below.

The performance and development review (‘MUS’) at SDU is an annually recurring appraisal between manager and employee. Based on the employee’s working day, MUS gives the manager and employee the opportunity for a more in-depth dialogue and matching of expectations about goals, tasks, well-being, collaborative relationships, professional and personal development.

A group development review (GRUS) is a conversation between a manager and a group of employees, focusing on the group’s overall skills and development needs. The group development review is a tool for creating coherence between the University’s and the unit’s core tasks and the group’s task fulfilment.

The Leadership Development Review (‘LUS’) is a dialogue between the manager and the manager’s line manager about the manager’s own development and that of their unit. The LUS is a good tool to ensure strategic skills development: In the LUS, the manager’s and unit’s development plan is discussed, as well as which skills the manager and unit have and which ones need to be developed in order to achieve the goals set out in the plan.
