Flagging on campus
Please contact Technical Services for inquiries regarding flagging.
Remember to specify the campus city when contacting us.
Note: Flagging on Campusvej in Odense is currently not possible.
Event and Activity Support
Technical Services can assist with the following when you are hosting events or activities:
- Advice and planning related to hosting events and activities.
- Authority approvals if required.
- Booking of rooms and areas for the event.
- Installation of temporary electrical setups for the event.
- Loan of standard furniture such as tables, chairs, whiteboards, and partitions.
- Setup and dismantling of equipment and arrangements.
- Cleaning in connection with the execution of the event.
- Coordination for events with over 150 participants, where Technical Services must be informed for safety reasons.
Catering orders are not a service provided by Technical Services. Instead, please refer to the canteen.
Loan of AV equipment, such as projectors, microphones, and lecterns, is not a service provided by Technical Services. Instead, please refer to SDU IT.
Rules for Loan and Rental
Please note that it is the organiser's responsibility to ensure compliance with the rules for loan and rental of rooms.
Room and Area Booking
Room booking for students
Students can book available classrooms and group rooms here.
Odense
Students can borrow a classroom, Humlehaven, Sourdough Square and The Central Canteen in Odense for events for students at SDU.
During the daytime, it is free to use the classrooms if it is for study-related activities.
If you are organising a party for students, you can borrow rooms of different sizes for a deposit. It is not possible to borrow rooms for private parties/events.
For rooms for up to 60 people, a minimum of 2 hours of cleaning and a deposit of DKK 2000 must be paid.
For rooms for more than 60 people, a minimum of 4 hours of cleaning and a deposit of DKK 5000 must be paid.
You must fill out a hand agreement and pay a deposit prior to the event
The rooms can be booked by sending an email to 8888@sdu.dk.
If the room is not occupied within the first hour of your booking, the booking is cancelled and the room can be freely used by another/others.
We reserve the right to make changes to your booking.

Use of SDU Premises
Use of premises for teaching purposes takes precedence over use for examination purposes (with the exception of January and June)
In some cases, due to capacity constraints, it will be necessary to hold exams during the entire period 08.00-22.00.
