Teaching portfolio
A teaching portfolio is a collection of materials (text, tables, etc.) that visualises and documents the lecturer's pedagogical skills, experiences and competences.
Teaching portfolios at SDU serve three purposes:
- To document the teaching competences of applicants for research and teaching positions at all levels at SDU to recruit the overall best researchers and lecturers for academic staff positions (assessment purposes).
- To provide a basis for dialogues between managers and employees about the teaching task (development purposes).
- To contribute to documenting and showcasing the extensive university pedagogical know-how that exists and is developed at SDU, and which supports teaching (exhibition purpose).
