Pool for equality funding

The Faculty of Business and Social Sciences offers financial support for initiatives that promote gender equality. The aim is to overcome gender-specific career barriers on both an individual and organisational level.  

The pool is available to both technical/administrative staff and academic staff, and you can apply either as an individual or as a group. Group activities can be targeted at various organisational units, for example, research groups, a department or the entire Faculty.

Examples of supported projects include individual coaching, networking activities or guest presenters. 
 

Application procedure 

The application procedure is quick and simple. Send an application to the Gender Equality Committee (Secretary Johanna Süssmeir, johanna@sam.sdu.dk)

The application should include a brief description of the activity, including how it helps overcome gender-specific career barriers and who is expected to get the most out of that activity. It must also be stated when the requested funds are expected to be used.
 

Guidelines for funding

The maximum amount that will be allocated depends on the number of employees who will benefit from the activity, based on the guidelines below.

Individuals: up to DKK 10,000 per year

Groups: up to DKK 30,000 per application

Please note that SDU cannot finance childcare or travel expenses for family members.
