Welcome to BEO – Bridging, Events, and Outreach

BEO is a unit under Educational Communication that works closely with the rest of SAMF Education and the Faculty Administration to support and develop activities for prospective and enrolled students at the Faculty of Social Sciences. Our mission is to provide both strategic and practical support for initiatives that attract, engage, and inform future undergraduate and graduate students. On this page, you can explore our activities, find practical information, and learn how we can collaborate—whether you represent a department, a student organization, or an administrative unit.

About BEO

We are a team of three staff members—Mejra, Maria, and Pernille—who work together to plan and develop initiatives within Bridging, Events, and Outreach for the Business and Social Sciences programs. Our work ranges from school- and student-targeted activities to the planning and execution of large-scale events and outreach efforts. Our target audience is prospective undergraduate and graduate students, and we collaborate closely with high schools and internal units at SDU. On this page, you can read more about our three main focus areas, as well as find contact and collaboration information.

Creating Connections Between People and Education

At BEO, we aim to present SDU’s study programs in a way that is accessible, honest, and personal. We do this through bridging activities centered around building relationships—where there’s room for curiosity, questions, and reservations. Our activities offer young people a real opportunity to experience student life at SDU firsthand and are designed to give an authentic impression of both the academic and social environment.
