The Dean's Office
The Faculty of Business and Social Sciences
The primary role of the Dean’s Office is to support the Faculty Management and the faculty as a whole in policy and strategic matters. We provide central strategic leadership support across research, education, organisation, strategic communication, international accreditation, and external collaboration.
The Dean’s Office acts as a link between the faculty and internal as well as external stakeholders, contributing to coherence, coordination, and progress across the faculty and SDU.
Our tasks include, among other things:
- implementing and communicating the faculty’s strategic initiatives and objectives
- providing secretariat services for cross-faculty councils, boards and committees
- coordinating cross-cutting processes and tasks
- process optimisation, organisational development and strategic development projects
- strategic communication, research dissemination and events with a strategic focus.
As a management support unit, we work flexibly and solution-oriented. With competencies in strategy, policy, and communication, we contribute to creating value for the faculty and to supporting current priorities and development needs.
