The Faculty of Business and Social Sciences
Personnel & Finance is a central part of the Faculty Administration at the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences. We work to create the best possible administrative framework for research, education and management – so that researchers can conduct research, lecturers can teach, students can study and the leadership can lead.
The unit collaborates closely with the departments, SAMF Education, Research Support, the Dean’s Office, as well as partners outside SAMF and SDU.
As a unit, we work in close alignment with the faculty’s strategies by translating them into concrete actions in our daily operations. This means that we ensure robust and transparent processes within finance, HR, academic recruitment and the PhD area, provide accurate data and decision-making material to management, and develop workflows that help researchers, lecturers and students succeed.
We apply the principles of excellent academic communities by actively involving users, sharing knowledge across units, and continuously improving our procedures so they become more efficient, more digital and more user-friendly.
