Multifunctional machines

Technical Services provides service and support for multifunctional machines. 
Servicing in the form of paper supply, changing toner, emptying surplus toner, etc.
In addition, Technical Services provides support for error messages prompted by issues with, for instance, employee or student ID cards, paper jams and cassette errors.

How to use the multifunction devices

SPrint allows you to retrieve your print job from any machine with your employee ID card. You can either: :

  • Print via your computer by selecting ‘sprint on sdu-sprint0a.c.sdu.dk’.
  • Send an email to sprint@sdu.dk with your documents attached. You can send emails from all email accounts – including Gmail.

The advantage of SPrint is that you can:

  1. Print multiple jobs at the same time while making sure they don’t mix with other people’s documents.
  2. Choose another machine and print your job there – if there’s a queue on the machine you originally selected.
  3. Prevent your print jobs from ‘disappearing’ if the printer is out of service.
  4. Protect nature and the environment as unclaimed print jobs are deleted after 24 hours.
  5. Use your smartphone or tablet to print from.

Please note that unclaimed print jobs are deleted after 24 hours.
