Technical Services provides help and guidance for booking classrooms, the Conference Centre, the Svanninge Bjerge research station, meeting rooms and areas.

Booking of rooms

The University is closed for teaching and social events between Christmas and New Year

Booking of classrooms is done online via the TimeEdit booking system. Click here to search and book. 

Booking of classrooms can only be done after timetable planning, i.e. after 1 July and 15 December, respectively.
In January and June, teaching rooms are reserved for exams and can only be booked after the scheduling of exams. 

 

The Conference Centre includes rooms O94, O95, O96, O97 and O99, which can be booked via Outlook.

There is also room O100, which can be booked by contacting 8888@sdu.dk

Meeting rooms are booked via Outlook

There are three meeting rooms at Campus House

  • Cloud on 13th floor, max. 31 people
  • Rainbow on 13th floor, max. 42 people
  • Sky on 14th floor, max. 70 people sitting, 90 people standing. 

 

The rooms can be booked free of charged by SDU employees for professional events (not social events). 

The rooms can be booked all days and within all time frames.

To book rooms at the Odense Noble Virgin Convent, please contact 8888@sdu.dk

Parking:
It is not allowed to use the parking spaces at the Convent, as these are reserved for employees working there. 
Instead, please use the underground car park or other parking spaces in the area according to current regulations (see the signage on site).

Parking is at your own risk.  

To book the Svanninge Bjerge research station, please complete the booking form and send it to 8888@sdu.dk.

Please chesck the research station's calendar to see which days the station is booked.

The research station sleeps 36 guests and features labs, meeting rooms and a kitchenette. For one-day events, the venue can accommodate up to 80 people.

The research station is located adjacent to the forest in Svanninge Bjerge, which is owned by the Bikuben Foundation and has an extensive trail system.

 

To book a room at SIF, please write to 8888@sdu.dk.

Technical Services can book the following rooms:

  • Luftskibet, seats 49 people
  •  HCØ, seats 8 people
  • Rumfang, seats 10 people
  • Tændkraft, seats 8 people
  • Idériget, seats 14 people

 

All rooms can only be booked from 8:00–16:00 on weekdays. They cannot be booked for weekends and public holidays.

You may only use the ground floor

To book areas such as Campus Square, Panoramaudsigten, the Winter Garden or outdoor areas, please contact  8888@sdu.dk

Stands can also be booked by contacting 8888@sdu.dk. SDU employees and student organisations can book stands free of charge. External operators can rent stands for a fee.

In connection with parliamentary elections, municipal elections, SDU elections or other marketing events, you must also contact 8888@sdu.dkThe applicable guidelines must be observed. 

Booking rooms for external events

An external event is an event with which no SDU employee is associated.

Rental is subject to commercial terms which take into account the avoidance of distortion of competition between established meeting and conference providers. SDU cannot make resources available for external events free of charge.

To rent a room, please contact Technical Services by writing to 8888@sdu.dk. Rental of rooms at SDU is subject to availability, as per the rules for borrowing/renting SDU’s premises.

In addition to the rental fee, the organiser must pay for the setting up/taking down of rooms/areas and, to the extent that SDU deems it necessary, must pay for attendant supervision during the event.

Odense

It is possible to book classrooms, the Friday bar, Canteen 2 and Canteen 4 in Odense for student events at SDU. 

During the daytime, it is free to book classrooms for study-related activities.

If you are organising a party for students, you can book rooms of various sizes on payment of a deposit. It is not possible to borrow rooms for private parties/events. 

For rooms with a capacity of up to 60 people, payment for a minimum of 2 hours of cleaning plus a deposit of DKK 2,000 is required. 

For rooms with a capacity of more than 60 people, payment for a minimum of 4 hours of cleaning plus a deposit of DKK 5,000 is required. 

An agreement must be signed and the deposit paid prior to the event.

Rooms can be booked by sending an email to 8888@sdu.dk.

If you do not start using the room within the first hour of your booking, the booking will be cancelled, and the room will be available for use by another person(s).
We reserve the right to make changes to your booking.
