My name is Ioana Lazar and I recently joined the Department of Health and Social Context here at the National Institute of Public Health, in a scientific assistant capacity.
My background is in Psychology and Psychotherapy with a focus on Health Psychology via my MA dissertation, as well as Healthcare Operational Management (MSc) with a focus on organizational culture and quality improvement. Over the next several months I will be working closely with other researchers on a few already existing projects such as The Body Therapy for veterans diagnosed with PTSD, where my input will be in the form of data management and literature review. At the same time I will be working on putting together an application for a new project investigating the relationship between music and health, in collaboration with professional opera teachers.
A little fun fact: after living in London for the past eight years I came to visit Copenhagen less than two months ago, fell in love with it and decided to make this fabulous city my home.
