Special holiday allowance percentage is raised
Compensation for Great Prayer Day is to be converted into special holiday allowance.
In connection with the 2024 collective agreement negotiations, it has been agreed that the salary supplement to compensate for Great Prayer Day has been abolished and instead the special holiday allowance has been increased from 1.5% to 2.02%.
The change has been implemented in the salary system and the new percentage will be paid with your salary in the month of May.
The new percentage rate of 2.02% relates to an accrual period from 1 January 2024 to 31 May 2024.
Going forward, the special holiday allowance of 2.02% will be paid twice a year along with the salary payments for May and August. The special holiday allowance payment and the salary for May correspond to the accrual period 1 September to 31 May. The special holiday allowance payment and the salary for August correspond to the accrual period 1 June to 31 August.
