The Faculty of Health Sciences at SDU can this year take pride in stable and, overall, impressive application numbers. The health sciences programmes have seen a total increase of nine percent in admission offers – thanks in part to strong interest in the new psychology programme in Esbjerg.

Henrik Bindslev becomes campus dean at SDU Vejle
Dean Henrik Bindslev will take on the role of campus dean for SDU Vejle. He will work closely with Dean Marianne Holmer until next summer, when Marianne Holmer will take over as Campus Dean when the first students start at the university's new campus.

At the time of writing, the proportion of applicants who accept the student place offered is up to 90 per cent. This is a temporary figure that may change as the programme of study continues to admit to available places.

Only six percent of the world’s business schools achieve AACSB accreditation – now the University of Southern Denmark Business School is among them with an internationally recognised seal of approval.

4.415 applicants have been offered a student place at SDU
On Monday 28 July, 4,415 applicants have been offered a student place at the University of Southern Denmark. Higher admission requirements mean that SDU offers 229 fewer places than in 2024.

Despite new admission requirements, SDU is experiencing an overall increase in applications. The university's education programmes are attracting great interest from Danish and international applicants, and new programmes such as Psychology in Esbjerg are attracting record numbers of applicants.
