Elections have been called at SDU
Every autumn, SDU holds a number of elections for both students and staff members. This year, voting will take place on 24 and 25 November.
Fortunately, the dark and cold month of November is still a way off, but once we reach 24 November, it’s time to vote in candidates for a number of bodies at SDU.
In the autumn of 2020, elections will be held for the following bodies:
- The Board of Studies, the PhD Committee and the Board of SDU
- The University Council
- The Academic Council
- The Department Council
- SDU's Appointment Body
Each sub-election is described in this guide (Danish only). Here you can see who is eligible for voting for the respective bodies and how many representatives are up for election. Please also see the election pages to get a better understanding of what each body is engaged in.
Feel like running yourself?
If you fancy a seat on one of SDU’s many bodies, you can offer yourself for election between 21 October and 9 November at 12:00 noon. We’ll be posting more info here on SDUnet as the election day approaches, but if you find yourself curious already, read more on the election pages.
