Data protection and information security

When you process information or personal data in your work at SDU, it must be done with responsibility and care.

You must always assess whether you are processing information subject to the record keeping obligation or information that is protected under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). At the same time, you must assess whether there is a requirement to obtain consent in the situation.

All employees at SDU must have completed the e-learning course ‘Data protection course for employees at SDU’, which you will find under employee courses.

You can read much more about data protection and information security, including GDPR, at SDU here.
